Women's Business Workshop

Start Your Online Service Business...

in One Day

You have years of skills.
Now let's build your business around them.

A 3-hour hands-on workshop where you go from 'thinking about it' to having a real service offer, a rate you can say with confidence, and a plan to find your first client.

You know you could do this.

You just haven't started.

You've spent years building real skills β€” in operations, administration, marketing, project management, customer service, finance or even in life coordination.

You've delivered results for other people's businesses and for yourself.

But somehow, following that calling to start your own business, has stayed on the list.

Not because you can't.

Because no one has sat down with you and actually built it.

That's what this workshop is.

Here's what you leave with

By the end of the morning you'll have:

  • A clearly defined service offer β€” written in one sentence.

So you can tell people exactly what you do without stumbling over your words or underselling yourself.

  • A niche or ideal client β€” the specific type of person you work with.

So you can stop trying to appeal to everyone and start attracting the clients who are the right fit for you.

  • Guidance on your rates and how to think about pricing.

So you can stop guessing, understand how the market works, and feel confident when someone asks what you charge.

  • A service guide you can send to anyone who asks.

So you can follow up a conversation professionally without scrambling to put something together at the last minute.

  • Clarity on where your ideal clients are spending their time.

So you know exactly where to show up β€” and you're not wasting energy in the wrong places.

  • A simple way to respond when someone shows interest.

So the next time someone says "tell me more" you know what to say, what to send, and what happens next.

You walk in with skills and questions. You walk out knowing what to do with them.

Come prepared.

Your history is your starting point.

You just haven't started.

Before the day, you'll receive a short pre-work email asking you to write down every task, responsibility, and skill from your last three jobs.

Bring that list with you.

Don't overthink it.

Every task counts, including the ones you think are too small. Answering phones. Managing spreadsheets. Handling difficult clients. Writing emails. Keeping a team on track.

That list becomes the raw material for your business.

Here's How The Morning Runs

Three focused sessions.

PILLAR 1

Your Services: What you offer and how to price it.

We identify the skills you already have, shape them into a service offer, and work through how to think about pricing so you can quote with confidence.

You leave Pillar 1 knowing exactly what you're selling and how to talk about it.

PILLAR 2

Your Niche: Who you work with.

We get clear on the type of client you're best placed to work with and how to describe them in a way that makes the right people feel immediately seen.

You leave Pillar 2 knowing exactly who you're talking to.

PILLAR 3

Your Visibility: Where to find clients and how to show up.

We cover where your ideal clients are, how to get in front of them, and what to have ready when someone shows interest.

You leave Pillar 3 knowing exactly what you need and where to find clients.

This is for women who want to get paid for what they already know.

This could include:

  • Virtual assistance and executive support

  • Social media management and content creation

  • Safety and Human Resources

  • Online business management and operations

  • Bookkeeping and financial administration

  • Marketing and copywriting support

  • Project coordination and systems management

  • Customer service and community management

  • Email management, scheduling, and inbox support

If you have a professional skill that can be delivered remotely and you want to build a real business from it... this morning is for you.

No website needed. No ABN yet. No clients. Just show up.

This is not a motivational session, awkward networking session or a general business overview. It is a working afternoon.

You'll be writing, thinking, and building something you can take straight to market.

F.A.Q.

What kind of service business is this for?

Any professional skill that can be delivered remotely β€” virtual assistance, social media management, online business management, bookkeeping, marketing support, project coordination, customer service, copywriting, and more. If you have real experience and want to build a business from it, you're in the right place.

Do I need to have already started a business?

No. This is designed for women right at the beginning, or those who have dabbled but want to build it properly. No website, ABN, or clients required.

What if I already have some clients?

You'll still get a lot from the day β€” particularly around offer clarity, niche definition, and your service guide. Many women who attend are already working but know they're not positioned or priced where they should be.

Is there pre-work?

Yes and it's simple. Before the day you'll receive an email asking you to write down every task and skill from your last three jobs. Bring that list with you. It is the starting point for everything we do together.

Is this a networking event?

Not formally. The focus is on working and building. But the room will be full of like-minded women at the same stage, and some of the most useful conversations happen in the breaks.

What's included on the day?

Morning tea and coffee throughout. A printed workbook with all session activities and frameworks to keep. Full access to all three sessions with Sinead.

Can I get a refund if I can't make it?

Tickets are non-refundable within 14 days of the event. Cancellations made 15–30 days before the event receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made more than 30 days before the event receive an 80% refund. Tickets are transferable at any time β€” simply contact us with the new attendee's details.

What about rates, contracts, and business setup?

Pricing guidance and how to think about your rates is covered in Pillar 1. The workbook also includes a practical resources section with guidance on registering an ABN, what insurance to consider, how to find an accountant, and what to include in a basic service agreement. There is a lot more to the business-building journey beyond the foundations β€” that's where ongoing support comes in.

What happens if I want more support after the workshop?

Sinead runs a monthly group coaching program for women building online service businesses β€” covering everything from client acquisition and first conversations to pricing, boundaries, and scaling. Ask Sinead on the day or send an email to [your email address] to find out more.

I can't make this date β€” is there another option?

If you can't attend the live event, the Build Your VA Business in One Afternoon masterclass is available for $99 and covers the core content in your own time. CLICK HERE
